The people that are not using this strategy to boost their products most probably don't know about it. This is because it is very cost effective and quite simple to use yet very effective and anyone can use it to market their products
For you to get traffic from online forum you need to participate in the forum related to your niche
Just go to Google and type “your niche + forum”, you will see a lot of forum that are related to your niche, all you need to do is to participate in them and make helpful posts in the forum.
Mind you, the product or blog that you intend promoting will be included as your signature in your profile. Whenever, a post is made, the signature (which is a clickable text) is displayed at the base of your posts and when clicked, it will redirect the person to your blog.
Yahoo Answer
There are some websites that Google respect a lot, if you find your way in linking your website to the sites that Google respect; you are on your way to getting lots of traffic.
One of the sites is www.answers.yahoo.com Browse through the questions forum and answers any question that is related to your niche. The question may come in the form of someone in need of detailed information about a particular subject. If your blog contains the answer to that question, what you can do is to respond to the question by directing the person to the site that has all the information the person so required.
Social Networking
Social networking site is just like online forum but social networking site has lots of advantages over the forum, in the sense that you can copy all the articles on your website and post them in Social networking sites, if you are posting in Social networking sites, look for sites that are “do follow site” and also have high page ranks

You might begin to wonder: How do you find quality blogs to make comment on? Go to Google, type in “Key Your word” or “Name of your Niche” + blog, it will display some of the top high ranking blogs for that niche. Copy and save the collected lists of blogs you want to comment on as csv files, excel, notepad or bookmark them so you can easily comment on them each time new posts are published.
